Recent donations have funded pay for teachers and meals for students for the rest of the school year. Due to the Ebola crisis, there is no boarding at the school at present, but students are in classes. Boarding will begin again next school year.
As donations continue to come in, a local board (composed of school officials and community members) is weighing options for further development.
A top priority for the board is to paint the inside of the classrooms.
Additional priorities include:
- Wiring classrooms for lighting and electricity.
- Building a new dormitory at some distance from the classrooms.
