ROBERT’S VILLAGE

It takes a village.

And it takes a special person like Robert to bring a vision to life.

Robert with students at the school.

Robert Serunjogi is from a village in Uganda. He works and studies at Colorado State University.
With the generous support of the Colorado State and Fort Collins communities, Robert has worked with his family who is still in Uganda to create a school and orphanage that feeds, houses, and educates 200 students. It’s a remarkable achievement that deserves continued support.

When you donate money to Robert’s Village, 100% of the funds you donate go directly to this project in Uganda. Even a small donation can go a long, long way. Educating a child for an entire year—including meals during the school day—costs less than $50.

Your donation goes to Robert’s family in Uganda, where it will immediately be put to use building infrastructure, paying teachers, buying food for the children. Recent projects have included adding a kitchen block, upgrading the latrines, digging a borehole for fresh water, and adding gutters and cisterns to catch rain water.

There is more to be done, and more will be done as funds are raised.

In the near future, projects will include painting the inside of the classrooms and building a fence around the school.
